Most Happy Gregorian 2014! // Muy feliz 2014 Gregoriano!!

Déjenme comenzar con desearles muy felices fiestas y un muy exitoso año gregoriano del 2014.
He pasado por una que otra buena aventura y ponderando sobre todo lo que me paso en el 2013, me deja con una reflexión, o mejor dicho, serie de reflexiones, aunque no sea "domingo de reflexión", pero casi:

A un año de la ridiculez del "fin del mundo" del 121212, Me pregunto, Porque la mente apocalíptica de unos cuantos cree que se terminara el mundo en un día especifico? Acaso al universo le importa nuestra cuenta? serán reflejo del miedo creado por cierta religiosidad? Y Acaso se nos olvida a los del hemisferio Americano que, somos los últimos en recibir el año gregoriano?
Porque marcamos el año 10 días después del solsticio, cuando todas las civilizaciones antiguas celebraban el comienzo del año? yo creo seria un tanto cuanto mas preciso... No?

Vaya, Porque es que marcamos fechas determinadas para ciertos eventos ? muchos afirman que el tiempo no existe... maravilloso sentimiento, pero, acaso no envejecemos? Si incluso las galaxias y todo nuestro universo es regido por temporalidades y ciclos de vida. Si bien el tiempo es relativo a nuestra percepción del mismo, eso es muy diferente a afirmar que no existe...

Si le pudiéramos preguntar a una Cicada, Que opina del amanecer, diría que es cuando brota y muere... Para ellas el amanecer es como Draculesco, no lo pueden ver sin morirse, o según he oído...
O que el día en Venus es de 243 días terrícolas o como dice un amigo, lo mismo que un lunes en un corporativo cualquiera... O el día de Júpiter de 9.9 horas terrestres, lo mismo que mi ultima vacación...
Si les pregunto a mis hijos de que es mas largo: Las mañanas en el colegio o la del sábado, ... ya me entiendes...

Entonces si la convención prácticamente universal es de que el año terrícola es de 365.25dias, o redondeadito en 365 puesto que es lo que tarda nuestra nave espacial en darle la vuelta a nuestra estrella... eso es ineludible... buena e inamovible referencia... que al universo finalmente le vale un cacahuate.

Y  a pesar de todo eso, No se ustedes pero cada año soy uno mas que hago, declaro mis propositos de cada año gregoriano... probablemente abandonándolos igual que el resto de la humanidad en menos de lo que acaba enero...

Sin embargo, cada día que pasa la realidad es que sentimos que nada significativo o casi nada pasa, excepto unos poquitos días en nuestras vidas. A menos que tomemos perspectiva del año o peor aun, uff! nuestra vida entera. !! Aun así, hay eventos importante y significativos que se nos olvidan o ni siquiera tomamos en cuenta... En especial los eventos difíciles o insípidos...

Entonces porque nos empeñamos en no visualizar los micropasos o "pasos de bebe" como paso real y significativo? Si la realidad es que el tiempo pasa inmisericordemente, la vida pasa, lo queramos ver o no. Si cada uno de nosotros no tomamos iniciativas, las riendas de nuestros propósitos, que no necesariamente tienen que ser tomados el 31 de diciembre y abandonados antes de que termine el mes, sino todos los dias de nuestra vida, con cada amanecer y con cada anochecer, recontar lo cumplido en ese día para retomarlo al siguiente día... Así nos innovamos y renacemos todos los días...simple.

Fantasioso e idealista? muy probablemente, pero créanme.

Funciona. funciona en nuestras vidas y funciona en nuestros negocios. Porque si no, perdemos pista y se nos puede morir antes de que nos demos cuenta.

Let me start by wishing Y'all a brand new and very happy Gregorian 2014.
I've been through a handful of adventures and pondered through all that happened in 2013, which got me thinking a bit, even if its not "Reflection Sunday":

It's been a year since the ridiculous "end of the world" 121212. So I wonder, Why do a few apocalyptic minds think the world will end in a specific numeric day? Does the universe care for our human counting? Or is it rather a fear created by a religious something? And why is it that us in our American hemisphere forget that we are the last ones to cheer upon the each of the new Gregorian years?
Why is it that we celebrate new years 10 days after the solstice, when that is when most if not all ancient civilizations celebrated new years? I'd believe it'd be a tad bit more precise, Wouldn't it?

Why is it then, that we mark predetermined dates for certain future events? Many affirm that time does not exist... wonderful feeling, but Are we not ageing? If in fact galaxies and all of our known universe is ruled by life cycles and temporalities... Time is in fact relative to our perception of itself, that is way different to say that it odes not exist...

If we could perhaps ask a Cicada, What he thinks of dawn, he'd say it is when he spawn and dies. For them dawn is like Draculesque, they can't watch it without dieing, or so I've heard...
Or that Venus' day is 243 Eathling days long, or as a friend says, same as a Monday in corporate life. Or Jupiter's 9.9 hours long, that is the same as my last vacation... If I ask my son's Which is longer? schools morning or Saturday's? ... you get the point...

So if the Earth's universal convention is that our year is 365.25days, or rounded up a bit to 365 which is what our spaceship takes to go around our Star... which is undoubtful... good and immovable reference... Which the universe does not care at all.

Despite all of this. I do not know about you guys but every year I am one more that I make, declare and summon my own Gregorian new years' resolutions... most likely abandoning them the same as the rest of humanity before January is over...

However, everyday that goes by, truth is we feel nothing or pretty much nothing significant happens, but a handful of our days in our lives.. Unless we take perspective of our year, or worse, our whole life!! Still, there are a bunch of very important and significant events we forget or we don't even take notice... Especially unsavory or difficult events...
So Why is it the, that we obsess on Not taking notice of each of our babysteps as a real and significant step? Truth is that time goes mercilessly by, life goes by whether we want to see it or not. If in turn each of us take the reins of our own initiatives. goals and resolutions, which by the way mus't have to be December 31'st alone and thus forsaken before January is over. But rather on each morning and each dusk recount every accomplishment to remount on the next day. So we innovate and reborn each and everyday... simple.

Fantacious and idealist? Very likely. But believe me. It works.
It works and very well in both our lives and our businesses, because if we don't, we will loose track and it will die off before we even notice.
