Estimados lectores,

Esta semana tuve una experiencia un tanto desagradable y de ahí derivo mi reflexión dominguera para que no quede en desperdicio miserable de tiempo y esfuerzo.
Todos hemos tenido experiencias en donde uno piensa una cosa de alguien y resulta ser otra. No puedo ser demasiado explicito pues a pesar de todo, sigo siendo respetuoso.
Hace unos días fui aproximado por una muchacha buscando empleo, o eso dijo de inicio. Le dije la verdad de que empleo de tiempo completo no podía darle pues no es mi politica, pero si en base de comisión según se fuera dando el proyecto. Vaya, por su perfil y capacidades intelectuales aparentemente buenas por cierto, algo no me latió del todo. Le mande el draft de convenio y fue todo un drama: "que porque era mucho que era poco, que era injusto que era inetico...."

Es mas, le ofrecí en el convenio ganar cuatro veces mas de lo que originalmente me pedía  pero condicionado por supuesto a su desempeño. Si de algo nadie me puede acusar es de ser injusto. Pero dentro de toda las acusaciones e injurias, algo capto mi atención  Vi una muchachita muy asustada, con incongruencias muy profundas. Era evidente que había sufrido mucho, probablemente hasta abusos innombrables...

Entonces le hice una oferta, le ayudaría con un poco de orientación personal y de negocio, vaya, si lo hice con mas de 200 empleados que llegue a tener en algún momento.... Entonces le hice un convenio firme con "lo tomas o lo dejas". finalmente lo tomó. Y dentro del proceso si me platicó cosas terribles de su vida y confesó que si tenia incongruencias de suma importancia en todas las facetas de su vida. Eventualmente hoy le toque un nervio...

Me confiesa en medio del berrinche que por el berrinche de hace unos días  envió información confidencial a gente que no debía de habérsela mandado argumentandome que yo le autorice...Le dije que me mostrara el comunicado donde yo le autorizaba y yo me mordería la lengua. Obvio, eso nunca podría suceder, pues dicha comunicación era imposible de producir de forma legitima pues nunca existió  La verdad es que solo puedo asumir por el berrinche de hoy que su problema era mas grande de lo que yo podría saber coachear... Quedo fuera de mi capacidad, es mas, probablemente fuera de casi cualquier psicologo, pero yo que sé.... Ya ni que hacer. Yo, por mas que ella trato de ofenderme, no lo logró y la verdad es que esta prácticamente imposible, pues yo se muy bien quien soy, entonces no me ofendo fácilmente. Y para acabarla de joder, tengo todo por escrito...

Mas o menos en el mismo contexto me encuentro un articulo en una publicación respetable, por tanto no se que hacia allí  sobre un estudio en base de estadísticas y estudios de IQ sobre inmigrantes... Les escribí la siguiente nota y mi conclusión cruzada como acostumbro viene al final:

 "lo que demuestra dicho articulo es irónicamente lo que quieren desaprobar por el simple hecho de probar que alguien es o no es, somos o no somos, ciertamente NO una bola de estúpidos como sociedad, sino una bola de sentidos sobreorgullosos probando así solo una falta de autoestima colectiva. Todo nos ofende y eso es mas triste que las afirmaciones de unos pocos ´pseudoracistas antimigratorios´ subidos en un podio de ´ cartón ´. El simple hecho de que se escriba sobre ellos, no importando el sentido, es lo que ellos buscan: Inflamación política de todas las facciones, es decir, cayendo en su propio juego por una simple "mal" lectura de estadísticas probablemente tendenciosas...

La inteligencia se demuestra por lo que nos importa. Y Si como individuos o sociedad  nos importan idioteces o en su defecto asuntos realmente importantes/mayores, en cada caso, Que se acaba demostrando de nosotros mismos?

Evidentemente en este caso del estudio, en el supuesto de si se van a secciones de las ciudades en donde están conglomerados los latinos, las posibilidades de que sean de bajos recursos son mayores, porque los de mayores recursos no son fácilmente reconocidos. Nos mezclamos con el resto sin forma de identificar. Y si, eso es la causa del pánico mismo.

Evidentemente el escritor del articulo también esta buscando para vender su articulo y ganar unos centavitos es encontrar o en su defecto crear justificaciones para desacreditar el estudio, pero las esta buscando en los lugares razonables pero seguramente equivocados. El hecho de que si el titulo universitario es X y el estudio requiere Y según paradigmas tradicionales, no quiere decir que no sepa de que esta hablando. Es un parámetro razonable pero no estrictamente necesario. Un estudio de esta naturaleza no es cirugía craneoencefálica. 

El único parámetro que podría tal vez desacreditar (o ratificar) la veracidad del estudio son parámetros del estudio de IQ mismo que seguramente no son del todo factorizados correctamente. Pero entonces el indagar en eso puede igualmente desacreditar al autor del articulo mismo. Seguramente se encontró algo y no lo quiere decir, O no encontró nada que fuera importante, de igual manera dejaría de ser noticia inflamante. 

Sobra decir que todos los países del mundo desarrollado e intermedios o en potencia han creado grandes inventos para la humanidad. Ahora hasta África se ha puesto en movimiento interesante de inventos... Así que ¿Donde esta lo realmente importante?

México, hmmm. probablemente sea uno, si no es que el país puntero como inventor de Latinoamérica y un lugar respetable en la tabla mundial... No que a nadie le sea mas importante eso que quedarse ofendidos...

Lo que mas tristeza me da es que como sociedad caemos redonditos: tratando de probar inteligencia hacemos estupideces. irónico.

Es curioso como todos los individuos como las sociedades del planeta tomamos cualquier pretexto para inflamarnos como gallitos de pelea por mas puntos que tengamos en la escala de IQ seguimos tropezandonos por el CIE (inteligencia emocional). Todos, finalmente humanos imperfectos somos todos. "Que porque si, que porque no, que de un lado, que del otro... "  Finalmente uno como individuo tratamos de hacer lo mejor para si mismo y sus seres cercanos. En el mismo proceso acercamos a algunos y alejamos a otros dentro de la misma sociedad. En especial cuando uno busca su auto identificación tanto como individuo como sociedad colectiva, no hay forma mas fácil y evidente que hacerlo por medio de exclusiones: "tengo bubis soy niña, - yo no pero si tengo corneta,  entonces soy niño"...o  " yo hablo ingles y tu no- yo no pero hablo español y somos mas..."  - "soy de los flacos,.. y yo de los gordos"... etc etc etc. 

Y Como sociedades del mundo debemos evitar caer en el "sobre-ofendido", porque cuando eso sucede a gran escala, pasa la primera guerra mundial, Iraq, Afganistán o la que les guste... 

Y esto aprendí esta semana: Definitivamente hay gente muy dañada, tanto, a veces, que ya no saben aceptar ayuda, como perritos atropellados que nos muerden cuando queremos llevarlos al vet. Yo soy de que mordido y todo, los llevo.

AH! innovación, es igual, cosa de actitud.

My dear readers,

This week I had quite an unpleasant experience hence derived my Sunday's reflection for it at least not be miserably wasted time.
We've all had experiences where one thinks being something and it just so happens to be something entirely different. I can't be too explicit as, I am a respectful gentleman even after all that.

A few days ago I was courted by a girl looking for a job, or so she said. I told her the truth that I wasn't in the position to give her one, but based on commisions and fees according to the given project she was welcome to join in. After all, her Linkedin profile and intellectual capacities were in fact quite good, but something did not click just right. I drafted out the agreement, and the dramas started: "Too little, too much, unfair, unethical..."

In fact, I offered in the agreement over four times what she originally asked for, but conditioned to her performance. So it is way clear that I was overly fair. But within all the accusations and blasphemies, something caught my attention: I saw a very scared kitten, with deep incongruousness. It was very clear she had suffered quite a few, even unmentionable abuses...

So I offered my hand, I'd help with a bit of personal and business orientation, as I did with over 200 employees I had at one time... So I drafted another 'take or leave it' agreement. She took. Within the process she did confess some truly horrible ordeals she'd gone through and expressed regret for such incongruousness between her actions, feelings and words among other facets of her life. Eventually I touched a nerve...

Eventually she confesses in the middle of the huge tantrum that on the previous tantrum she sent confidential information to someone as she said I told her, when I had never authorized it. I asked her to show me the authorization letter, and if such appeared, I'd bit my tongue. Obvious, that was never going to happen, as such legitimate letter or email never did exist. Truth is I can only assume derived from such huge tantrums that she has a much bigger problem I could ever coach out, likely even out of most psychologists fields...What do I know, nothing else to do. Me, as much as she tried to offend me, she did not achieve as it is close to impossible, as I do know very well who I am, so I do not take offense too easily. And to her deeper disgrace, I have everything in writing.


Aroundthe same context I find myself reading a kinda/respectable publication, for so I do not know why this was in there, an IQ/statistics about immigrants... the article itself is of no importance, but what I wrote to the author is the following note and my usual cross-analysis will follow:

"...what your article denotes is ironically what they what to disapprove by the simple fact to prove that someone is or is not, we are or we are not. Certainly not a bunch of morons as a society as they claim, but they have prove we are a bunch of over-proud, oversensitive collective low self-esteem society. We take offense about everything and it is way sadder that happens out of a few pseudo-racist anti-migratory soapbox affirmations. The simple fact that we are writing about them, with disregard of the sense is what they are looking for. Political inflammation of every faction, that is, falling prey of their own game by misreading of most likely skewed statistics.
Intelligence is proven with what it matters to us. And yes, as individuals or society we care about stupidities or lack there of with really important matters. In either case, What can be proven about ourselves?
Evidently in this case study, in the supposition that parts of the cities in which latinos are gathered, the odds of them being low income are greater, because high income are not easily found. We mingle and camouflage with the rest with no easy way of being identified. And yes, that causes panic on by itself.

More over, the author of such article is trying to sell the words and earn an few pennies, searching of defaulting in creating a justification to discredit the study, but he's looking in the most reasonable but really wrong place. The fact is that if the college study is X but the study requires Y according to traditional paradigms, does not mean by any way that he's not capable of knowing what he says. It is a reasonable parameter but far but being strictly necessary. A study of this nature is not brain surgery.

The only parameter that may discredit (or prove) the truthfulness of this study are the prameters of the IQ study itself, same that most likely are not factored in correctly. But then researching into that may disprove the article's author himself. It seems likely he found something and won't say, or found nothing with inflammatory news worthy importance.

Most countries in the world, even Africa has coined up a few interesting breakthrough inventions recently. So where's the real important matter? Being offended is the least of our worries. What is sadder is that, as a society we've fallen once more over into the trap. Trying to prove we are smart, we do stupidities. How ironic.

Funny it is, how as individuals and societies all around our tiny world we take anything as "reason" to inflame ourselves as fighting chicken for whatever number we have in the IQ scale we keep stumbling with our own EIQ (emotional intelligence quotient). Everyone, at the end of the day, imperfect humans we all are. "because yes, because no, one side, the other..." Finally as individuals we try to do the best for ourselves and our loved ones. In the same process we pull and push others within. It is when we search our own individualism and collective society, there is no easier and evident way of creating exclusions: "I have boobs, I'm a girl- I have a weiner, I'm a boy" - "I speak English and you don't - I speak Spanish and we are more" - "I'm skinny - I'm not" etc etc etc.

As world societies we must avoid falling into the "over offended" trap, because when this happens in large scale, World Wars happen... or what you like.

That is what I learned this week: There is definetely some too damaged people out there, sometimes so much so that they can't handle the help, as car struck puppies that bite when you are carrying them to the vet. I am one that bitten and all I still go.
